Enjoy this the best you can....After further review, this may not have been shot at Leithton. My notes may be wrong. There's no double track in Leithton at any location that would look like this. Cast concrete marker at the end of EJ&amp;E track on the far north side of Waukegan, IL, in September, 1973. The track did continue into the sprawling Johns-Manville plant, but EJ&amp;E's ownership ended at this post. Sometime after Manville shut down, and EJ&amp;E pulled its track back, this post was there for the taking. Later on, it got hit, most likely by a vehicle that got totalled in the process, and was snapped off above the ground. I tried to grab it, but it was way too heavy to lift. It layed there for a long time, but it's gone now.]]></description>
