6160 EJ&E Ore Train 2-74

EJ&E empty ore train heads for Waukegan,IL in February 1974. This is at the Telegraph Road (IL Route 43) crossing in Knollwood, IL. Behind the photographer is a small grocery store where he had gone to buy beer, not knowing a train was coming. When we came out, the gates were going down, and there was no chance to cross the tracks and get to the sunny side of the train.
