LIKE THE OLD DAYS

The J has a long history of combining it's switchers and road units together, and just like the old days we see the CN is still continuing this practice. EJ&E SD38-2 662 (the last in the J - ball scheme) and SW1001 446 (the last switcher in yellow and the only one on the current CN roster) combine their forces to take a train on the Whiting Branch to Kirk Yard. 3/8/2011 East Chicago, IN photo by John Eagan.
