Norfolk Southern paired GP60's lead train 35J westbound through Zeigler, IN on 5/4/12. Racing along at 60mph, this train has a healthy cut of coil cars going to the IHB Michigan Avenue Yard. The track to the left is the Chicago South Shore & South Bend, and the older poles at the far left once belonged to another interurban, The Northern Indiana Railway. The Michigan-Indiana Electric still brings power to communities along this route using the old NI poles, some of which still have visible holes from where the trolley wire brackets were mounted!
